RIDE MTA TO ORIOLES GAMES AT ORIOLE PARK
Local bus, Metro Subway and Light Rail saves time and money
BALTIMORE, MD (April 9, 2009) – Baseball fans are encouraged to take MTA public transit to all Orioles’ home games. Light Rail drops you off right at the front door of Oriole Park, so you can arrive relaxed, refreshed and ready to cheer. With MTA Local Bus or Metro Subway, parking and traffic hassles disappear. During late innings MTA riders don’t have to leave early to beat the rush out of the parking lot. MTA customers can go home a winner every game. MTA offers several convenient transit alternatives including:
• Light Rail every 10 -30 minutes with 33 stops and over 3,400 free parking spaces. For games ending
after regular closing time (11 PM Monday-Saturday; 7 PM Sunday), service will operate as needed for an
hour after the final out. Customers returning to the Washington, DC area are encouraged to take Light Rail
to the BWI Business District Light Rail Station or to BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport where they can catch
Metrobus B30 to the Greenbelt Metro Station. The last posted departure time for the B30 is 10:48 P.M.
from BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Stop 1. Light Rail Fares are $1.60 one-way, $3.20 round trip,
$3.50 Day Pass.
• Local Bus routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 19, 20, 23, 27, 35, 36, 61, 64, 91 & the Quickbus 40. Fares
are $1.60 one-way, $3.50 Day Pass.
MARC Train Service - There is no return service on MARC Train service after the game.
• Metro Subway every 8 – 15 minutes. For games ending after regular closing time (Midnight), service will
operate on a regular schedule for one hour after the final out. Fares are $1.60 one-way, $3.20 round trip,
$3.50 Day Pass.
• Mobility/Paratransit for individuals with disabilities who are registered with MTA Mobility/Paratransit may
call 410-764-8181 for service to Oriole Park and should call before 5 P.M. the day before.
