The Maryland Transit Administration's Office of Real Estate is comprised of two (2) major sections, which are Property Acquisition and Property Management. The office manages all requests for Rail Crossings, Vendor Inquires, Entry Agreements and Parking Request.

Requests

All requests will require insurance however insurance requirements may be changed based on usage - - please download PDF for insurance requirements. Requests must be mail to: 6 Saint Paul Street, 3rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202, Attention: Matthew A. Lattin, or via email to mlattin@mta.maryland.gov

Rail Crossings – Request to cross MTA freight rail lines will require the following:

Vendor Inquiries – Request to sell products on MTA property, will require the following:

  • Vendor Name, Address & Phone Number
  • Certificate of Status
  • Food Vendors: Food Service Permit issued by the County’s Health Department
  • General Liability Insurance
  • Description of goods sold

All vendor inquiries will need to go through MTA’s procurement process, which could take 3 to 6 months.

Entry Agreement – Request to enter onto MTA property, will require the following:

  • Description of Property
  • Plans or aerial drawings outlining your project.
  • Dates of use
  • Contact Information

Entire process can take 2 to 3 weeks.

Parking Request – Request to use MTA parking lots will require the following:

  • Location of Lot
  • Dates of use
  • Contact Information
