**Steps to Free Parking at BWI Marshall Rail Station Parking Garage**
Travel must originate at BWI Marshall Rail Station, as indicated on tickets.
1. Sign up and receive you MARC monthly or Transit Link Card (TLC) through Commuter Direct.
2. Pick up a parking application from the booth at Garage 1 at BWI Rail Station.
3. Submit application. Attendant will fax application to PMI for review.
4. Within 24 hours, PMI will contact you regarding your application and when you may return to the booth to receive your key card/parking pass.
5. At booth, pay one time refundable deposit of $20.00 and receive your key card/parking pass. If credit card information was included on your application, your fee has already been paid. If not, you may pay booth attendant with a check when picking up your key card.
Remember, key cards are NOT distributed on the same day you submit your application. You must contact either the Garage 1 booth attendant or PMI concerning the parking pass application prior to your first day of travel.
Each month, Commuter Direct validates your monthly or TLC MARC ticket with the garage operator, designating you to park your vehicle.
Rail tickets purchased through AMTRAK are not eligible for free parking at BWI Marshall Rail Station.
