The MARC Train Service will operate modified schedules between December 21 and January 1 in observance of Christmas and New Years Days. Below are the changes day-by-day.

December 21

Full MARC service will operate on all three lines, with the following modifications.

• Penn Line: There will be a special Penn Line train departing Union Station at 2:50pm making all stops to Perryville. In order to operate this departure, Train 640 (5:25pm departure from Union Station) is cancelled. Train 442 (5:50pm departure) will operate through to Martin Airport, arriving at 7:17pm.
• Camden Line: There will be a special Camden Line train departing Union Station at 2:00pm, making all stops to Camden Yards. In order to operate this departure, Train 852 (5:53pm departure from Union Station) is cancelled.
• Brunswick Line: Train 871 (Friday-only 1:30pm departure from Union Station) will operate and continue west to Martinsburg. It will depart Union Station 15 minutes later at 1:45pm. There will be a special Brunswick Line train departing Union Station at 2:40pm making all stops to Martinsburg. In order to operate these departures, Trains 875 (4:25pm departure) and 879 (5:40pm departure) are cancelled. PanTrans buses will meet Trains 873 and 883 as usual.

December 24

MARC will operate the Penn and Brunswick Lines on an “S” schedule. Only trains with an “S” under their train number in the timetables will operate. Some trains make extra stops as noted in the timetables. There will be no service on the Camden Line. Camden Line tickets are always honored on the Penn Line.

December 25

There will be no MARC Train Service on Christmas Day. Penn Line passengers should note that Amtrak trains do not honor MARC weekly and monthly tickets on weekdays that MARC does not operate.

December 26 and 27

Full MARC Train Service on all three lines, no changes.

December 28

Full MARC service will operate on all three lines, with the following modifications.

Full service resumes on all three MARC lines with no modifications.
