Regular Fares
Single Ride Fares
Valid for a single trip (no transfer) on Local Bus, Metro Subway, Express Bus, Neighborhood Shuttles, or 90 minutes of travel on Light Rail. Pay one-way bus fare (exact change only, please) upon boarding the bus, or use your CharmCard®. For Light Rail and Metro Subway, purchase one-way or round trip tickets from ticket vending machines located in the rail stations. Bills in denominations of $1, $5, $10 and $20 and major credit cards are accepted by ticket vending machines.

Day Passes
Valid for unlimited travel on Local Bus, Metro Subway, Light Rail and Neighborhood Shuttle on the date purchased until 3:00am the following day. You can use cash or your CharmCard to purchase a Day Pass from any Local Bus Operator or from any Light Rail or Metro Subway ticket vending machine.

Weekly and monthly passes are available by using cash or your CharmCard at Light Rail and Metro Subway ticket vending machines, the MTA Transit Store at 6 St. Paul Street in Downtown Baltimore, and at many pass sales outlets.
