BALTIMORE, MD (May 15, 2019) – Each year, horse racing enthusiasts and festival lovers make their way to Pimlico Race Course for the running of the Preakness. The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) encourages attendees to leave their vehicles at home and take public transportation to this year’s festivities. Local Bus, Light RailLink, Metro SubwayLink and MARC Train all provide convenient transit options for riders.

Riders can use CharmPass, the official mobile ticketing app for MDOT MTA, for fast and easy access to fares, and the Transit app to track their bus in real time. Both the CharmPass and Transit apps are free to download in app stores.
