Let CharmPass mobile ticketing, Transit app guide you to Baltimore’s biggest New Year’s Eve fireworks display
BALTIMORE, MD (DECEMBER 30, 2019) – The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) wants you to celebrate the new year by leaving your vehicle at home and taking transit to Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular. Riders can use CharmPass, the official mobile ticketing app of MDOT MTA, for fast and easy fare payment, and the Transit app to track their bus in real time.
“We encourage all riders to ring in 2020 using fast, safe, reliable MDOT MTA transit service,” said MDOT MTA Administrator Kevin Quinn. “Using the free-to-download CharmPass and Transit app are the best ways to start your new year on transit.”
The following schedules will be in effect Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
CityLink and LocalLink: December 31: Regular schedule
January 1: Sunday/Holiday schedule.
Metro SubwayLink: December 31: Regular schedule
Metro SubwayLink will operate one hour after the New Year’s Eve fireworks display Dec. 31.
