Temporary Diversion for Downhill Derby & Street Mural Painting Festival

On Sunday, October 14, 2018 between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, Harford Road between Echodale Avenue and White Avenue will be closed to all vehicular traffic for the Downhill Derby and Street Mural Painting Festival.

This closure will necessitate the following temporary diversion for LocalLink 54:

Northbound: Via the regular northbound route on Harford Road to Echodale Avenue, then:

Temporary Diversion due to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Baltimore

On Sunday, October 14, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon, the YMCA will host the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Baltimore. Ellerslie Avenue will be used to divert buses from 33rd Street, Loch Raven Boulevard, and The Alameda until the race is over and the roads reopen.

The following streets will be blocked or temporarily interrupted during the event:

Local and CityLink Bus Diversions- Water Main Breaks

The following temporary Local and Citylink bus diversions are in place due to watermain breaks in the area:

CityLink Purple;

Westbound- Regular route to Frederick and Glen Rock, then Glen Rock, (L) Brabant (L) North Bend, (R) Frederick, back to regular route.

CityLink Yellow:

Southbound- Regular route to Frances and Selma, then (S) Frances to Ridge Avenue, (L) Washington Boulevard, back to regular route.

Temporary Diversion Due to Crosby Road Bridge Closure 

Effective Wednesday, October 10, 2018 between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the Crosby Road bridge (over I-695) will be closed again due to construction.  This closure will necessitate the following detour of LocalLink 78 line.

Westbound:  Via the regular westbound route on Ingleside Avenue to Craigmont Road, then:

Temporary Diversion due to Columbus Day Celebration Parade

Effective Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, or until clear, the following streets will be closed for the Columbus Day Celebration Parade:

Temporary Diversion Due to Sowebo Landmark 5K Footrace

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 between 6:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, the Sowebo Landmark 5K Footrace will take place. During this event Gilmor Street will be closed to through traffic between Lombard Street and Hollins Street. This closure will necessitate the following CityLink Purple service will be detoured as follows:

Westbound:  Via the regular route on Baltimore Street to Gilmor Street, then:

Morgan State University Annual Homecoming Parade

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon, or until clear, Morgan State University will host its Annual Homecoming Parade. 

This year’s homecoming parade will assemble at the intersection of The Alameda and Chinquapin Parkway, where it will proceed south on The Alameda, east on Cold Spring Lane, and then south on Hillen Road where it will disband. 

This year’s Annual Homecoming Parade is expected to last about two hours.

Street Closures:  

Temporary Diversions for the Whitelock Community Harvest Festival

Effective Saturday, October 7, 2018, from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Whitelock Street will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions between Brookfield Avenue and Linden Avenue.  This event will necessitate the following diversions of CityLink Yellow service:

(toward Downtown) Via the regular route on Madison Avenue to Whitelock Street, then:

Temporary Diversion of LocalLink 93 Service Due to Light Rail Trackwork

Effective each of the following weekends, LocalLink 93 service will be detoured in both directions due to Light Rail trackwork:

From 6:00 AM Friday, September 28th until 6:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2018  

During the above timeframes, LocalLink 93 will operate as follows:

2500 Block of E. Preston Street Closure Due to Outreach Day

Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the 2500 Block of E. Preston Street will be temporarily closed for the Greater Gethsemane Ministries Community Outreach Day between Luzerne Avenue and Milton Avenue.  

This closure will necessitate the following temporary diversion:

Westbound: Via the regular route westbound on E. Preston Street to N. Luzerne Avenue, then:
