The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will operate on the following schedule on December 31, 2025 & January 1, 2026

LocalLink & CityLink Routes:
Regular Weekday Schedule on December 31 and  Sunday Schedule  on January 1.

Metro Subway:
Regular Weekday Schedule on December 31. Metro Subway will operate one hour after the fireworks end.
Sunday/Holiday Schedule on January 1.

Light Rail:
Regular Weekday Schedule on December 31. Light Rail will operate one hour after the fireworks end.
Sunday/Holiday Schedule on January 1


MARC Train:

December 29-30: Full service on all three lines

December 31: “R” Schedule on all three lines including Penn Line Trains 455 and 454

January 1: No MARC Train Service

January 2: Full service on all three lines

Commuter Bus:

On Tuesday, December 30- Commuter Bus will operate all routes on the “S” Schedule.

      •   Route 230 – Trip 5 will operate at the regular scheduled time

      •   Route 505 - Trip 6 will operate at the regular scheduled time

On Wednesday, December 31-Commuter Bus will operate all routes on the “S” Schedule.

      •   Route 230 – Trip 5 will operate at the regular scheduled time

      •   Route 505 - Trip 6 will operate at the regular scheduled time

On Thursday, January 1, 2026-Commuter Bus will NOT operate, except Route 201 will operate the Weekend/Holiday “S” Schedule.

On Friday, January 2, 2026, Commuter Bus will operate all routes on the “S” Schedule.

      •    Route 230 – Trip 5 will operate at the regular scheduled time

      •   Route 505 - Trip 6 will operate at the regular scheduled time

On Monday, January 5, 2026, MTA Commuter Bus will resume Full/Regular Service on all routes.
 

Mobility:

  • Sunday/Holiday Schedule on January 1.  No subscription trips on January 1.
  • To schedule rides on January 1, please call the Mobility Call Center at 410-764-8181, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • MobilityLink & Reduced Fare Certification Offices on Patterson Avenue will be closed January 1.

 

Transit Information Contact Center & Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth:

  • The Transit Information Contact Center and Mondawmin Customer Service Center will be closed January 1.


MTA Transit Store will be closed on January 1.
