MARC Train service to Stanley Cup parade
MARC Train will operate a regular weekday schedule on all three lines on Tuesday, June 12. The Washington Capitals' Stanley Cup Parade will begin at 11:00am in downtown Washington, DC. There will be **limited** additional capacity provided on southbound Penn Line Train 423 (departing Baltimore at 9:00am) and northbound Penn Line Trains 422 and 424 (1:20pm and 2:20pm departures from Union Station). Brunswick and Camden Line trains will operate with their regular number of railcars.
Visit our general information page for schedules, fares, and other information about MARC.
Customers should note that most MARC rush hour trains are already at or near capacity and we use all available equipment to operate our regular weekday service. While we are prepared to welcome extra customers on MARC, our capacity is limited. It is likely that trains will be very crowded and you may have to stand. Boarding will be stopped on trains when they reach a safe capacity. Having a ticket does not guarantee a space or passage on a train; you may have to wait to take a later train. Please allow extra time to get to your destination and arrive at your boarding station early.
Thank you for riding MARC Train.
