On Sunday January 12, 2025 and Saturday January 25, 2025, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Police Department will be conducting testing for its next class of entry-level recruits. The MTA Police will allow persons interested in a career in law enforcement to walk-in and take the test. Testing will be conducted at MTA Police Headquarters located at 4701 Mt. Hope Drive in Baltimore starting at 8:00 a.m.

Interested candidates should allow approximately six hours to complete the written test, physical agility, oral interview, and a pre-background screening. Candidates are encouraged to wear athletic attire and bring a valid photo I.D. Candidates will need to complete this employment application prior to arriving on testing day.

To qualify, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, have at least a high school diploma or GED, have a valid drivers license, must be 21 years old PRIOR to graduation from the police academy and must not have committed or been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.
