The Baltimore Running Festival will take place on Saturday, October 19 and there will be numerous street closures and detours in effect which will create delays on Local Bus routes in and around the MTA service area. All CityLink routes, LocalLink routes 21, 22, 51, 52, 53, 54, 56, 65, 67, 71, 73, 76, 78, 80, 85 94, and Express BusLink 163 will be impacted. Riders should plan ahead to allow for extra travel time.

Real-time tracking of bus and train arrival information is available on Transit app, Google Maps, and other trip planning services. Riders are encouraged to use these apps to plan ahead with the most up-to-date information on for Local Bus, Light Rail and Metro Subway including stop closures resulting from the Festival's routes. Light Rail and Metro Subway are great options for Running Festival attendees looking to get in and out of Baltimore.

Light Rail 
On Saturday, two early trains will depart Hunt Valley at 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. The regular Saturday service schedule from Hunt Valley will begin at 6:00 a.m.

Light Rail from Glen Burnie Service will operate on regular Saturday schedule. Starting 6:00 a.m. depart Glen Burnie ⇾ 6:23 a.m. arrive Camden Yards


Metro Subway
A great option to travel into Downtown Baltimore. All stations between Owings Mills and Mondawmin provide free parking. Runners should exit at Charles Center Metro Station and proceed to the race site at Camden Yards which is a 15 minute walk. Subway runs every 20 minutes.
