Amtrak continues work to rebuild the platform at New Carrollton station with half of the platform closed for construction. This significantly limits the number of doors that will open -- all doors will NOT open.

Passengers traveling to New Carrollton should only exit the train where they see a uniformed MARC Train conductor, any door without a train crew member will not open. Passengers are encouraged to listen to on-train announcements and if you are not certain which doors will open at New Carrollton, ask a Conductor when you board the train or when they collect your ticket.
