We thank Washington Metrorail passengers for choosing MARC Train this summer during the Red Line closure. Effective Monday, October 7:

--Trains 890 (6:09am stop at Kensington) and 891 (4:02pm stop at Kensington) will resume bypassing Kensington station due to low ridership

--Train 878 (8:01am stop at Kensington) will continue to stop at Kensington given the number of passengers boarding

--Promotional fares (50% off for travel between Garrett Park, Kensington, Silver Spring and Union Station) will continue until further notice.
