Description:

MDOT MTA continues to monitor operations during the COVID-19 situation and we recognize the vital link that transit provides in the Baltimore-Washington area. Due to sharply reduced ridership as a result of increased teleworking, MARC Train will continue operating on a “R” schedule effective until further notice. Only trains with an “R” under the train number in the Penn Line schedule will operate, with the following additional service:

Train 403 (4:45am departure from Penn Station) will operate

Train 502 (6:10am departure from Washington) will operate and will make all stops

Train 453 (9:37pm departure from Penn Station) will operate

Train 452 (10:55pm departure from Washington) will operate

Download a PDF of the Penn Line timetable at www.mta.maryland.gov/schedule/stops/marc-penn . Passengers from Perryville, Aberdeen, and Edgewood should note that all Amtrak cross honor trains remain suspended until further notice.

As conditions are rapidly changing, MDOT MTA will continue to monitor and evaluate adjustments for weekend service. For further MDOT MTA updates regarding coronavirus, visit www.mta.maryland.gov/coronavirus . Thank you for riding MARC Train.
