Commuter Bus-Beginning Monday, August 31, 2026, MTA Commuter Bus will resume normal service to all regularly scheduled stops in Washington, D.C. Service to the outlying WMATA Metrorail stations that was temporarily implemented during the recent service adjustment period will be discontinued.

These temporary service adjustments were put in place to accommodate road closures associated with the Freedom 250 Grand Prix Race and The March on Washington on Friday, August 28, 2026. With those activities now concluding, most affected commuter bus routes will return to their regular service patterns.
